The big day is upon us, the 1 year anniversary of Gaming Central Forums is 23 days away today. It's ominously quiet around here, but we have failed to fade away 
In celebration, I'm offering a deal, which only a few will most likely get  Every post you make from now to October 23rd 2005 will get you one free affiliate! Not just the affiliates forum either, you'll get a button in the affiliates box, which is soon to be put up. You don't HAVE to put one up, but it's free! And pretty easy. There's no limit either.
Those of you (miquinones) who are still around, here's your chance to reminisce on times past. If you have anything to say, go ahead 
The big day, we should do something, this would also be the place to give suggestions for what we should do 23 days from now.

Today is a special day. Not because of posts or members, although they helped a lot, but today, April 23rd, Gaming Central Forums is celebrating it's 6 month anniversary! Thanks to all the members, we have been around for half a year, and will hopefully continue for a long time. Most of our still active members have only been here since March, but they have made 1000+ posts in that short time. I would like to congradulate you, and all the members that have contributed to our success, and hope to see some new names in the near and distant future.

I've decided to create a topic for our board statistics. These are only after GCF became active once again on March 1st, 2005, after sitting dead since mid December. These will be updated every once in a while, to show how we've been doing. So, here are the statistics for 3-1-05 to 4-18-05:

Total: 995 posts
Average Per Day: 20.30 posts per day
Most: 242 posts on April 17
MEMBERS
Total Joined: 6 members
Average Per Day: .12 members per day
Most Joined: 1 member (tie: all)

Total: 33 topics
Average Per Day: .67 topics per day
Most New Topics: 4 topics created on March 1 and March 26

Average Per Day: .61 PM's per day

Yep, we're growing, fast. We have just passed 300 posts! And it's not going to stop either. We have had on average 20 posts a day. In under week we went from below 250 posts to 300 and counting. And, at 20 posts a day, we could be to 400 in a week or less! 500 is just around the corner, and we could be there in under 2 weeks at the rate we're going. So, keep it up, and pat yourself on the back!
